Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I'm not sure what kind of spare tubes everyone is fitting in this, but I ride a mountain bike and there is no way a spare specialized mountain tire tube is fitting in this. I jam and jam and jam and nothing. Now I have no use for this bag....I mean, it will fit a patch and a tire level, but what is the use of those without a spare tube as well? First Timbuktu product I am not thrilled with. Be careful if you have MTN bike tires or want to put anything in here besides your cell phone.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
It performs as described; this is the perfect size bag for carrying the minimal essentials for survival on a road ride. It fits a spare tube (700 x 23), CO2 cartridge w/adapter (16 gram), set of 3 tire levers, cash and/or a credit card and has a clip for your keys. It fits nicely, (tight and snug) up underneath the saddle on a road bike, is durable and well made. The seat post strap may be a bit short for some aero style seat posts but fits well the Madone aero seat post and easily on round seat posts. You may be able to squeeze in a small multi-tool or spoke wrench in addition to the above items but If you want to carry anything more, I recommend the large size.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
On the display rack, this thing looks bomber: heavy-duty rubber, ballistic nylon, taped seams. However, on the bike, it loses a little of its shine.
I bought the medium and it barely fits a tube, CO2 cartridge, micro-inflator, and Skabs. My mid-sized multi-tool won't fit in it, nor will an enclosed power inflator.
Putting it on the bike, there seems to be lots of sway. It's on securely, but it swings around like Grandma Betty sans bra. Not a pretty sight. Trying to reduce the thigh-slapping sway, I discovered the seams aren't as good as the fabric. Rip.
Finally, for a company who puts a light loop on everything they make, they skipped putting one on a piece of equipment that actually goes on the back of your bike.
Really Timbuk2? You make lots and lots of great products, but this isn't one of them.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I use it on my road bike, it's cute but really difficult to open and close. The zipper is too hard to work, and I thought maybe it needed to be "broken in" but it's not getting better. I actually lost my bike tool going over a speed bump (during a race) because I couldn't get it zipped shut all the way. Also, it's really, really small. I can barely fit my cell phone in it, and my cell is small!

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
This seat bag is well made and there is no bouncing even on rough terrain. It just barely fits an ultralight road tube, multi tool, two tire levers and my credit card. The only thing I wish it had was a reflective strip and/or a strap to attach a rear light.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I like this as it is easy to use and does fit small things like, keys, cell, ID and cash. I would just classify it as sized small, not medium.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I have the medium size for my mountain bike. It's made of a good material, quite firm and the zipper works great, much better then a tran-It bag I have. Fits perfect under the saddle and it's quite firm. These bags run a bit small, it barely fits a light tube and a adhesive repair kit, room for almost nothing else. I'd like to get another one for my road bike.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
Used this saddle bag on a 29er. Able to fit a 26in tube, multi-tool, CO2 nozzle and a small 10mm wrench. Biggest issue with this saddle bag is the side velcro straps would come undone over rough terrain, the material at the top of the bag separated from the zipper, and the thin strap on the zipper wore out. I used the bag for 1.5 seasons.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
I like this bag; however, I was disappointed when the pull strap came off in my hand. I was able to put it back on with some effort. This strap is a weak design unexpected from Timbuk2. The bag mounts easily and holds position well. I am able to cram in a multi-tool, a CO2 cartridge, two tire irons, a patch kit, a master link, and my keys through judicious juggling. It is a bit small for longer treks, but is perfect for training rides as long as you don't need or want to carry a spare tube.

Comments about Timbuk2 Strap Seat Pack - Medium:
My primary problem with this pack is the description. I know that I should have been able to figure out what would fit by looking at the dimensions, but I didn't. I was barely able to fit a spare 26" mountain tube. I like a small pack, but I figure it should contain a tube, tire lever, patch kit and if you have room, a multi-tool. I don't feel that this is large enough for "a day of cycling in wine country or trekking through the Headlands".
The best use for this would be possibly a road bike as I was able to fit a road tube. Otherwise, anywhere that you can do with just your keys, a few bills and an ID. (A wallet will not fit)
Anyway, 3 stars because I like it and if it was proportionately a bit larger it would be very nice. Also it's at least partly my own fault :\
