I've had a set on my touring bike (in the 700x28 size) for the last 3 months (1000 miles) and I'm very happy with them. On my old tires, I was averaging a flat every month, but since switching I haven't had a single one. After 1000 miles these tires show no signs of wear and, even more importantly, there are no worrisome bits of glass or stone chips embedded in the tire surface. Rolling resistance and cornering performance are both average, but perfectly acceptable for my commuting and weekend training rides.

I commute every day on roads that are a bit rough in some areas, which causes premature wear on the tires. These would work great if I rode less frequently or on newly paved roads, but every day commuting may not be their best use. Despite the wear, however, they are still quite puncture resistant and grip well.

Commute about 70 miles/week with another 40 on the weekends. After a series of screws, glass, etc. got tired of flats. I only have a couple hundrd miles on these tires so far and no complaints so far. Can't beat them for the price and durability.

I originally bought the tires because they were cheap but found they are the best commuting/training tire I have ever owned. I have had them on since December 08 and not one flat. Half of my training is commuting 50 miles to work over rough roads. The wear is average and I even participate in training races with them. No problems in the wet or cornering. I just replaced the rear tire after 6 months. A fine tire at a great price.

I use this product daily to commute to and from work. Love the puncture protection. Have run over small bits of glass, bolts, small chunks of metal and other junk. Trust me, you don't want tire failure when commuting at any speed. These tires take it all and keep on going. Bought these for my converted Mongoose MTB. Main reason for buying these tires was because I purchased the MTB Serfas Spine FPS tires and used them hard on all kinds of terrain and road conditions. The Spines worked great without any flat problems so I bought the road tires expecting the same satisfaction for the road performance. Have performed well and to my expectations. These tires can take a pounding and a lot of miles. Have had no problems at speeds in excess of 35 mph on flats or downhill. 200 miles commuting so far and tires are going strong.
As for the cons I mentioned above just be wary and go slow until you get the feel of the loose surface you are riding on. These are thin tires so they wont hold traction as well as MTB tires would. We all come across terrain in our travels once in a while that is not suitable for the tire so be cautious and enjoy.

Just purchased a second set after having the fewest flats ever on the first set. Put them on my road bike for commuting, and you know how city streets can be for bicycles.
I commute around town, with a few spring and fall tours of two to four days. The set I just replaced lasted two full seasons which means more than 1000 miles.
And the set I just took off lasted longer than any other brand I have used. All around good tires, not real good inb rain, not real fast for high speed road bikes perhaps, but for commuting on the mean streets of the city, they are real good tires.
