      I frequently paddle at night and this light makes me feel much safer when other larger boats approach me. The LED light has a substantial suction cup that really works. I like the way the light reflects on me, as I paddle, so that I can be extremely visible. I also like the ease of battery replacement.

        One of the better lights on the market, incredible watertight construction, and extremely long lasting battery life. Also the suction cup is very powerful so it wont fall off if you have to roll and if it does there is a convenient clip will prevent it from ending up in the water.

          I love kayaking/fishing, especially at night. I feel much safer now that I have this on my boat. It's easy to use, and works very well. The suction cup is strong and even stays on in choppy water. It works 'ok' on land as a flashlight too.

            I used this product on three night paddles recently while paddling from Frt. Pierce, Fl, to NOLA. Both times I was highly visible in my outrigger canoe from at least 1/4 mile away (I know this, because I was in communication with folks on land while I paddled in to meet them). Between this light strapped to my aft iako, my headlamp, and the reflective tape on both iakos, my OC1 was lit up like a mini-cruise ship--minus the horrible emissions and not very well treated sewage. I've also used this light when camping, as it's easy to hang in the tent, and is extremely bright. I would not do a major--or even minor--excursion without this light.
