Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
These are great for travel... lightweight, take very little space, comfortable, dry quickly (washed in the basin and they really did dry overnight after a good wringing)... but don't think I'll ever test the 50+ UPF rating :-) Good for golf as well, cool and dry.

Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
This briefs breath well and don't take up odors easily. They are great for multi-day trips and traveling where space in tight. They hang dry super fast and are very comfortable. I am gradually purchasing more and more of them to add to my daily clothes, even for work and around town. My girlfried also likes them better than the normal cotton briefs I used to wear :)

Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
When i started riding my bike for transportation, i realized i needed something more comfortable than boxers to ride in with my baggies. After trying some TNF and Patagonia products, i found these, and have not looked back. They fit very well, are very comfortable and soft against the skin, and allow in enough air to keep me cool. They're more on the cotton side than something like the Ex-Oficio stuff, but they work great for me. Since buying them i've started to wear them almost full-time, on and off the bike. And there's always the plus of being guy-tested, girlfriend approved. I wear a 31 pant, and the S fits great. And no, i'm not going to add any photos or videos to 'spice up' my review.

Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
I bought these for a whitewater rafting trip--wanted something I could wear under my wetsuit that was form-fitting/wouldn't chafe. These definitely fit the bill! They don't dry quite as quickly as I hoped, but they do fit snuggly and are insanely soft. They provide support in the water and partial modesty if you have to change out of a wetsuit. HIGHLY recommend these!

Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
For the past few years, I've only owned REI-brand and ExOfficio underwear. Something went terribly wrong and they redesigned the ExOfficio, and I no longer recommend them. I am glad there is REI.
This review is for the slightly larger style (not the Blueridge color):
I recommend these briefs for traveling, for 16-hr flights, for wet humid climates, vacation, for stressful business meetings, for sports, for every day. They dry very quickly.
Do not buy the briefs if you are looking for something cute to wear, they may look too big. Buy them for comfort.
The ONLY part I hate: I do not like the REI advertisement around the waistline.

Compare to Patagonia at $25; REI brand briefs are a better product and cost ca. 35% less

Comments about REI Midweight MTS Briefs - Men's:
They do a good job wicking away moister but where they didn't help to prevent chafing which was a big problem on a three day hike. I would buy the boxer briefs if they fit a little bit better.
