          I bought these water shoes a little while back to replace the cheapo pair of drugstore brand water shoes I lost in my first swim down a class III- rapid after flipping while whitewater kayaking in a hardshell for the first time.

          Since then I've used them half a dozen times while whitewater kayaking and they have worked out great. They are comfortable, durable and the velcro on top along with the pull cord in the heel keep them firmly on your feet...even through a subsequent class III rapid swim :)

          The only difficult thing about these shoes is that they are hard to get on. I didn't mind this because they were great at keeping the sand out and that is why they have a snug fit at the ankle.

            My husband and I each bough a pair of these for a rafting trip. We have both done a bit of canoeing/rafting in the past but never had the 'proper' water-shoes before (always used sandals with straps). We were very happy with our purchase. The shoes are very comfortable, have pretty decent traction (still have to be careful on slippery rocks, but that's the case with any footwear)and the biggest plus was that my feet were warm even when wet. It was a cold rainy day out on the whitewater, and though other parts of my body would get wet and cold throughout the day, my feet were always warm. Overall a great product, well worth the <$40 investment.

              These water shoes are well built and seem to be very durable. They cushion my feet well even when carrying my kayak while on a hard surface. They provide good traction and fit well. They are superb in every way compared to my old pair of water shoes.

              I brought these to replace a cheap pair of water shoes that were worn out.
