Comments about Thule Specialty Railing Rack with 50" Load Bars:

I drive a soft top jeep wrangler and needed a solution for carrying large items ... Surf board, skis, flyrods, bikes. I had a rack installed that mounts to the windshield hinges and the tail lights and sits over the top without damaging it. It is made of round tubes but nothing would mount to it easily. I figugred I would give this rack a try and see if I could get it to fit or mod it to work... It fit snug and secure right out of the box! I was very happy with it. I added a couple Thule bike mounts and a surf board pad and it had room for all. I have had my surf board (10'2"), my road bike AND mtn bike on it and it handled all well. I would highly recommend this product.
