Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
With no light this is practically useless as a travel clock.
The up and down keys change the date inadvertently.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
Purchased this for a Trip to Italy, Venice, Florence and Rome.
Thankfully, I am a lite sleeper. The alarm is very quiet and heavy sleepers will not hear it. Set up is not very intuitive via the directions and will leave you guessing. The first number on the calculator does not appear on long numbers (seems to be malfunctioning) and enabling the alarm sometimes works sometimes does not work. Unreliable and squirrely. Iphone clock- alarm is 100% better. I would never rely on this for business use.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
we bought this specifically for a trip to Europe. it had some kind of wierd antenna in it, and when we went thru customs in Amsterdam, they gave us a really hard time. since it doesn't look like your typical travel alarm clock, i guess they thought it could be some kindof dangerous device. i felt like a criminal. with the heightened security in airports everywhere, i wouldn't take this on a plane.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
Overall a pretty decent alarm clock. I like that it folds up nicely and is relatively compact without being fragile.
It has some nice extras including a calculator, but not having a light is really annoying. It also does some fancy stuff like adapting to different time zones, which I never used.
It isn't super loud, but I've never had any problems with it waking me up.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
I never figured out how to set the alarm. Or, it may have been that the sound was muted somehow. I ended up w/o an alarm for 2 weeks in Italy.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
I wish I had read reviews before buying this clock. In addition to the complaints of other reviewers, I would add that the snooze button is very tiny. I like to hit snooze a number of times before getting up and the only button that results in a repeat alarm is the tiny snooze button. So if you accidentally hit any other button, the alarm won't go off again. I will not use this as a primary alarm clock, so wouldn't bother traveling with it.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
Had one 4 years (1.5 in Central America). Loved it, so am buying another. Love the features, including temp conversion (helped me get accustomed to Celcius). Very reliable. Doesn't keep me awake by ticking. Perfect alarm volume (always wakes me, never rattles my nerves). Ants got into it in Nicaragua; the formic acid they excrete slowly ate away at internal wires, destroying unit functions. It would be nice if this unit had a light, but I always have a flashlight/headlamp/booklight with me anyway, so no big deal. Easy to use; just read the manual (I kept manual in unit's sleeve in case I forgot some nuance). If it's specifically for a trip, get used to unit for a week or so BEFORE you go.

Comments about Eagle Creek Multi-Function Travel Clock:
Great little unit! Had my first one for almost 20 years! Getting another. Most used features: Clock with second display, currency converter, thermometer, calculator, world time, alarm. As I said, handy. I have a very small flashlight so I'm not upset the clock doesn't have one. although if they'd include one in the future, I wouldn't be upset. Perhaps that would shorten the life of the battery though. Battery life now is very long. I only changed it maybe every few years. The screen finally gave out on my first one.
