The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
its a heavy light compared to some, msot people get the hybrid lights so they can have a good spot beam, but... the led's on this lamp are brighter and go farther than the xenon bulb. i tried this light for my car camping/caving duties, and it works ok, but not exceptional.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
I use this headlamp in work and play. I can pick which light to use depending on needs. I love that it uses AA batteries and weight has never been an issue, however I did say that this is my third one. Where the battery cable goes into the bezel is a weak spot. This is where my first two lamps failed and because of design and warranty I did not attempt a field repair. The line in, should be reinforced with a sleeve at the weak point! Also I would like a choice in using 1,2 or 3 LED's, so I can chose one LED for reading at night or all three for when I'm looking for lost items. I've spent a lot of time reviewing other headlamps, I think this one is the closest fit to my needs.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
Xenon/LED hybrid is worth the cost in $ and oz. It uses 3 AA batteries as opposed to AAAs that LED-only headlamps use: a little more bulk, but worth it for the additional capacity. Haven't had any problem with the strap, and have found no need for an additional over-the-head strap, but I can see where people might want it.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
This headlamp is great for out in the woods. The batteries last forever with the LED's and having the ability to turn on the halogen when I need it is a really nice feature.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
I purchased this headlamp online not realizing that it didn't have a strap over the top of your head, but you can purchase the "missing" strap from Petzl (which I did) [...] With out the top strap the lamp just didn't fit right (maybe I'm just used to the top strap on the other lamps I have owned). The MyoLite is a little pricey for what you get, I’ve since purchased a Black Diamond Zenix IQ and like it’s features, and so the Myolite has been relegated to the bottom of the pack

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
This is a great light for just about any nighttime use. The battery lasts forever on the LED setting and the Halogen gives you that extra shine when you need to find something. It is a little heavy, but that slight flaw is outweighed by the peace-of-mind it provides

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
I love the versatility in this headlamp. I can save my batteries and run the LEDs, which are plenty bright, or go for a night hike with the halogen. It's a bit bulky with the 4 AAs, but the ability to switch from LED to halogen is worth it. I use rechargables and they last and entire three day trip. It is also very water resistent.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
I like this light for any purpose, in my car on a roadtrip, hiking, caveing. Especially good for the price. I have noticed the xenon bulb quickly drains the batteries, so I use the LEDs when weight is a concern. Had some difficulty getting to the xenon bulb at first, but it is simple to access once you see how. here's a good demo:[...]

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
I bought this headlamp because of the super bright halogen light. I was initially satisfied with it until the halogen quickly drained. Because it sucks up so much battery, it will only stay bright for a little while. Because of this I found myself not using the halogen very much. This made for an unnecessarily heavy headlamp. I have two other Petzl headlamps (the Petzl Tikka XP 2 for example) that are much lighter, have great battery life, and are more than bright enough.

Comments about Petzl MyoLite 3 Hybrid Headlamp:
The best headlight i've ever owned!!!! This light does it all, it has the bright led's for normal use and the long-range halogen for pointing out objects to other people. It is comfortable and durable and doesnt have any issues with connections inside the led's like my previous petzl light. Its only drawback must be its weight, its not really appropriate for backpacking, but as a true testament to how much i love this light i'm taking it with me to Philmont this summer.
P.S. It does not come with the top strap and I can't find it anywhere, it would be worth an additional 10 bucks in price for petzl to add it to the Light
