Stylish and lightweight but pills too easily. After wearing them for a halfday, I noticed pill on the front thigh area. Cold washed with a gentle cycle, pilled all over.

I am just going to reiterate what everyone else is saying- I loved these capris and the fit when I bought them, super lightweight, breathable, water resistant, very cute, but after wearing them to one outdoor concert and sitting in a crazy creek they pilled horribly! And everything I have done in them since including climbing and kayaking has only made it worse. Probably am going to return them even though I still love them. My question is, doesn't Prana have people testing out their clothes and if they don't, how do I volunteer?

I took these pants with me for a four month bike tour in South America. They were the only pants I had, plus four pairs of cycling shorts. They layer well with tights and legwarmers for warmth, and stayed cool in the heat. They were great for the 36 hour bus rides, and the pockets were deep.

They also held up amazingly well. Aside from the chain-grease stains, they still look great.

The only thing I would change is to add some kind of closure for the pockets so stuff doesn't fall out. I would like to buy more of these pants.

I bought these pants on the strength of the customer reviews, and knowing that Prana clothes fit me very well in general and tend to last a long time. I'm very active and sweat a lot, even when just walking across town. I love finding moisture-wicking fabrics in clothes that are stylish. These pants fit like a dream and flatter my figure. But here's the deal - I wore these pants once, and where the lightweight daypack I wear for running errands rubbed against the back waistband of the pants, the fabric pilled into dozens of little balls. The fabric even shredded slightly. I was really bummed! No way these will stand up to any activity where anything rubs against it. I often carry a heavy bag or daypack and this will cause pilling in the place where it hits the pants. And we're not talking a little bit...it's awful! I hope Prana might fix this, as these are soooo cute and I'd love to own several pairs - if only they were made of better material. If you won't be carrying a bag or anything that will touch the fabric repeatedly as you move, these would be dreamy, for yoga class and wearing during the warm months when you want to feel comfy and look good.

Great for active yoga practice-especially for something sweaty like ashtanga. Pants don't soak up with sweat and do not get clingy.

Dry quickly so you dont' get a chill when you go outside.

Comfortable except I don't get why Prana uses a lot of waist ties for their yoga pants. Not comfortable for some wrapping postures, and not ideal for adjusting students.
