        I have bought these hurricanes for my son and daughter (now 5 and 6) since they could walk. Both had wide feet as toddlers, these adjusted as we needed. My kids are very busy and play HARD... These sandals keep up with them each year!They are comfy, no blisters to speak of! We now live on a lake by the river and these shoes stand the test. I'm sure as they get older we'll need closed toe sandals, but for now, they're good for bike to hike from dress to playing in the river...

          My 6 year old son has 3 pairs of Hurricanes and he wears them everywhere all summer long for all activities that don't require closed-toe shoes. They're great for the beach, the pool, walking, playing, etc. I love how adjustable they are - he can still wear his Tevas from last year because of the movable velcro closures. They are a great value and, in his words, "They look cool"

            Oh do I love these identical sandals that I bought in 1999!! I have worn them every day for 9 full summers. Great arch support. The toe box strap is adjustable for extra width. I have serious bunions and often I wear them on cold days with socks. Can't wait til spring comes and I can get back in my Tevas. Wear them in and out of Lake Michigan. Nothing else like them. And now I can't find them in my 8M size. Alas, the new brand I bought doesn't compare and I paid an arm and leg for them. After 10 years the left sole at heel is starting to wear out. Have nothing else that has ever lasted this long. THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!

                I don't know what these sandals are made of or how they are made but I know for sure that these are the only kind of shoes/sandals that my kids do no wear out. My boys ( 7,6,3 )wore these sandals ALL SUMMER and they had only one pair each, but the sandals still look like new. Definitely the best quality you can ever buy.

                  My son has ridiculously narrow feet and we have a difficult time finding sandals to fit him properly. The adjustable straps make Tevas the best possible sandal for him—we never have fit issues. They are an extremely durable shoe as well. I have purchased several pairs of Tevas for my two rambunctious boys over the years, and I have always been able to get at least two seasons out of them.
