          I bought this product for my cyclocross bike which I also use as my commuter/transportation bike. the rear fender is ok, it took some finageling to get on but once it was on was ok. The front fender however totally does not work and would slip/move around after the smallest bumps/turns on my bike. I'd say I put them on and rode less than 2 miles before the front fender started to slip. By the time I got to work (about 5.5 miles)I had to stop, get off my bike and readjust the fender to stop it from scraping my front tire.

            After about a week, the rear fender started rubbing on the tire. I pulled it up with a bungee cord, but it was still wobbly and one side or the other rubbed.
            I finally removed it and am looking at other fenders.
            This would be good for someone who uses them for one or two days at a time.
            However, that said, it takes more than just a few minutes to install.

              I bought these for my road bike that I use as a commuter so I don't need to worry about getting dirty on the way to work. Unfortunately my bike doesn't have eyelets, so I didn't think I could put fenders on until I found these! They look great and seem pretty sturdy so far (only had them a week).

              Getting the fenders on the frame and adjusted to match the frame geometery was easy enough; I used the rubber straps while adjusting, then used the zip ties to really snug it up.

              They do seem to be a little overpriced for what you get though, so putting it at 4 out of 5 stars.

                My wife got these after she got soaked riding to work (at REI seattle). She rides a Novara Carema Pro that has the carbon seat stay and fork. The fenders look really good on the bike and are easy to take on and off. They also come with lots of extra rubber bands and zip ties for a more long lasting hold. The carbon fiber might only be a sticker but the fenders have a 5 year warranty. Do to the different angled carbon seat stay I did have to custom bend the back fender to get it to hug the tire. For the money might be a little much without a discount.
