Comments about Electra Townie 3i Bike:
Bought this bike for my wife since she gripes about her the comfort of my mountain bikes. This bike was the ticket for her and for the price I couldn't have asked for a better bike. I would recommend this bike for those that want to get out but don't want to go all out and for someone that finds it difficult and uncomfortable to ride a road or mountain bike.

Comments about Electra Townie 3i Bike:
Just picked up my new Townie 3i and the brakes made a horrible noise. Took it back within the hour. The shop thought maybe the brakes were just new. But I have a Trek with the same Nexus Inter-3 that makes the same horrible noise. (never got around to taking it in.) Went to the shop that sold me the Trek several years ago. They say the Inter-3 is not well constructed. Claim they see a lot of this problem and it cannot be fixed. The hub must be replaced. Called the shop that sold me the Townie to give them a heads up. If they can't replace the hub, I want my money back. But I have to say, the bike looks and handles great!
