This jacket (and the accompanying pants) have paid for themselves over and over again. We bought them large, so they would fit over winter clothing as a "shell," of sorts, yet they worked well in warmer rain weather, even then. They allow a fair amount function, and our toddler enjoys the playground equipment regardless of the weather. We've traveled to Paris in December, Chicago in February, Mt. Hood weekly for two winters, and we live in Portland, OR. This coat has stood up to the elements, as have the pants. I couldn't give a better recommendation. Yes, it seems to be a steep price at first, but it's become a very cheap itemsof clothing per use.

I bought this jacket and pants for my twin girls when they were 18 months old. We live in an area that gets 13 feet of rain annually, and we needed protection for our twin girls so that they didn't get soaked when we went fishing, hiking, or beachcombing. I bought this jacket and the matching pants for them when they were 16 months old. I had priced a lot of rain gear and either it didn't come small enough or it was very expensive for the amount of time they would wear it. I bought the 2T size thinking they could wear it for longer. It started out a bit big, but the features allow it to be adjusted. The velcro wrists and ankles allow you to cinch it down so that no water runs in. The waist has a tie as well as elastic to help with fit. Both the jacket and pants are generous enough so that you can fit a polarfleece jacket underneath. We have used and used and used this gear and it has yet to wear out. My girls are now almost three and are still wearing the same raingear! I will probably have to buy more next spring, but I definately feel like I have gotten my moneys worth. When we are done with this raingear we plan to pass it on to my sister and her twin boys.

My 2T puddle jumper stays nice and dry, even in a downpour. The matching pants and rainboots are must-have additions though. Another must-have in cold weather is a warm, insulating layer underneath (e.g., a fleece sweater and hat), for which this jacket provides ample space.

Fits nicely and looks good. Works well when getting a larger size as the sleeves can be tightened at the wrist with the attached velcro.

We live in the rainy Pacific NW and commute by foot or bus alot. I'm packing my pre-toddler on my back and put this raingear on her for when we are going without an umbrella. It's comfortable enough that she tolerates it. I bought it a little large for grow room and it seems to work fine with a roll of the sleeve for the time-being.

Good quality jacket and match for pants. Jacket is a bit overpriced in my opinion.

Still, if that is not an issue, the quality is good and the jacket comes down and covers child almost to knees in some cases.

Never doubt the waterproof ability, keeps kids dry!
