The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
Not sure why the bad reviews. I have been using this for years as a rope grab(prussic), PCD, personal anchor, ...
It grabs a 8.5mm rope with ease using a 3 wrap prussic, easy to tie, reliable, strong, light weight. Great for jugging a rope or rigging a rescue.
A few more colors would be graet as it helps to keep track of which cord is which.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
As others have noted, this cord is too stiff to be good general-purpose accessory cord for climbing.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
Bought the 30' package to use as a friction hitch on 1/2" Arborplex. (Need to trim trees).. Neither a 4 wrap Blake's nor 6 wrap Prussik will hold. The only hitch that (so far) will hold is a 6 or 7 wrap Helical. The cord is far too stiff for easily wrapping a hitch. Will have to look at either a different Mfg. or a pre-made split-tail.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
Bought some of this (both red and blue) to teach our four and five year-olds some basic knots. It works wonderful for that. Easy to see while tied up, flexible, easy to untie.
At first it was not so flexible, but after working it for a bit. It's just wonderful.
I would not say that the stiffness is a con, since almost all rope has to be worked a bit to become flexible as it was designed to be.
Prusics are OK with this stuff. But, I prefer to use the Klemheist hitch with it.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
I bought the packaged version of this cord, but I noticed that this by-the-foot stuff still had a good review.
I also bought this for autoblocking and prusiks, but the cord is TOO STIFF. It doesn't create any friction on the rope unless you wrap it at least 5 times around the rope, and then it locks too much and makes rappelling difficult.
The cord is also too thin to use for anchors (at least in my opinion), so I honestly don't know what it's good for.

Comments about PMI Accessory Cord - 6mm:
I bought this cord for autoblocking my ATC belay. I tested it on some 8mm accessory cord and the friction knot bit without any problems. I haven't yet tried it on my 10.5mm climbing rope but if it will lock on 8mm it should do fine. Little pricy but its a good product.
