Comments about Garmin Handlebar Mount for the 60-Series:
The clipping mechanism that holds the GPS in did not feel very secure. It finally broke when I rode the bike over a hard bump and sent my GPS flying.
Not to be trusted if you are a hard rider. Probably fine for those who walk over curbs and don't go on trails.
Comments about Garmin Handlebar Mount for the 60-Series:
USE: attached GPS to a road bike handlebar (Easton EC70 Wing Bar)
My mount snapped in the middle of the Hotter n'Hell 100 (mile 60 or so), leaving my GPS in the middle of the road. I wouldn't expect a mount to break on a tarmac road (not the greatest of roads, but not a dirt track either). My speed was about 20-25 mph and there was some vibration to be fair - but nothing I considered excessive.
I would consider this bike mount to be far too fragile for anything other than road-biking on a smooth surface (Farm roads in Texas don't qualify). The mount seems too fragile, unlike my Series 60 which wasn't even scratched.
The worst part of this was the quarter mile dash back to the GPS...
The only other advice I would give is to check the diameter of your handlebars before buying: the standard clamp doesn't fit all handlebar types. I had to buy a separate large diameter clamp to fit my Eason EC-70 handlebars.

Comments about Garmin Handlebar Mount for the 60-Series:
I would reccomend purchasing at least two. I have had two cradles break from fatigue while I was riding my bike in city traffic. Cars narrowly missed my GPS unit each time. I have had one handle bar mount collapse from fatigue, again sending GPS into traffic .I would buy three. I need to get a third unit as a backup.

Comments about Garmin Handlebar Mount for the 60-Series:
I found this to be a very study mount for my GPS. I have had no issues that were described in earlier reviews. I highly recommend this mount for the 60CSX GPS!!!

Comments about Garmin Handlebar Mount for the 60-Series:
Worked great for over 70 miles touring the San Juan Islands (on a stiff aluminum road bike) in Washington state over rough country type roads. Never was worried about it breaking or releasing the GPS unit, although due to prior reviews I wrapped the hand cord around it, "just in case".

Can't attest to the flimsyness, as can't use it on my MTB. Has worked OK on a road bike.
