      Comments about Hiking Death Valley:

I have owned this book for more than 10 years, and it is still in high use. The first in-depth guide to the Death Valley backcountry. It includes hikes for all levels of physical ability and all levels of automobile suspensions. If you are interested in getting to know Death Valley much better this should be a first-choice. This volume covers Death Valley proper, while the companion volume covers the Panamint, Eureka and Saline Valleys. Both are superb!!
