The heirloom black patina on the Lodge Logic Cast Iron skillet eliminates the time and effort of seasoning—it's ready to use right out of the box!

    • Lodge coats the entire surface of the skillet with a proprietary vegetable oil formula, then bakes the oil onto the utensil in a hot industrial oven
    • The high temperature allows the oil to penetrate deeply into the cast iron surface, creating that prized heirloom finish
    • Durable cast iron cookware offers superior distribution and retention of heat
    • Lodge Logic Cast Iron skillet features 2 pour spouts that make it easy to drain liquids

    Made in USA.

Comments about Lodge Logic Cast Iron Skillet - 12":

I live in a breakfast-centric house. It's the most important meal of the day. This Skillet was purchased to supplement our existing two, smaller cast-irons and immediately placed on permanent bacon detail.
Cast Iron cookware can't be beat.

Comments about Lodge Logic Cast Iron Skillet - 12":

This is the second-most-used peice of any of my cast-iron gear...great product. Google Sheryl Canter's "Chemistry of Cast Iron Seasoning: A Science-Based How-To" for the VERY BEST way to re-season and/or thicken the seasoning on cast iron.

Comments about Lodge Logic Cast Iron Skillet - 12":

I use lodge cookware at home and camping. While it is heavy it cooks very well and contains no chemicals or coatings just plain old cast iron and made in the USA. Everyone needs a little iron in there diet. Very easy to clean once cured as long as you don't use soap.
I use either lodge or All Clad cookware exclusively and actually prefer lodge

These cost about half as much at [...]. They are great in the home, too heavy for anything but car camping though.
