Comments about Asolo TPS 535 Hiking Boots - Women's:
I am difficult to fit, and these boots fit like a glove. My first hike in them (break-in hike) was 9.5 miles, and I had absolutely no sore spots or blisters. I was amazed at how comfortable they were. I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in these boots and can't say enough good things about them. I forded waterfalls and they kept my feet absolutely dry. Surprisingly, my feet are never cold in them either (and I am always cold). Despite the negative temps at the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro and my hikes in the snow in Maine over New Years, my feet stayed toasty warm. All i wore was a pair of SmartWool socks and liners. The boots are a bit pricy and are somewhat heavy, especially for a small person, but they are well worth the money and extra weight. They provide excellent ankle support and hold up very well. I can't recommend these enough!

Comments about Asolo TPS 535 Hiking Boots - Women's:
I've backpacked for years, on solo thru-hikes carrying heavy loads. I owned these boots' predecessors, and when they ran out, I upgraded to this model, which was sturdier and heavier. They were flawless, comfortable over a 25-day, 275-mile hike in the Sierra. No blisters, aided by a good application of foot powder and daily changes of fresh Smartwool socks. These boots are waterproof, not just water resistant. I've also had them in the snow, and they are warm. Toe box is roomy and the heel is snug. They are the best.

Comments about Asolo TPS 535 Hiking Boots - Women's:
My old pair of Asolos weren't quite up to a week of backpacking in the Canadian Rockies. I ordered a new pair (these) with just a few weeks to break them in before my trip. I was a little nervous about that. Unbelievably, this boot required virtually no break-in. They fit me like a glove and I could live in them if I had to. I love the high-cut fit and feel very steady on difficult trails. Ideal backpacking boot; probably more than I need on a dayhike, but they wear so well I don't notice the extra weight.

Went from Zamberlan, which is a great boot, but no longer available [...], to this boot. Very comfortable fit, short breakin, good toebox space.
