Comments about Prism Designs Nexus Kite:
This is another one of Prism's entry-level kites, bigger than the Jazz but smaller than the Quantum, and somewhat similar in construction to both. It has the kevlar-reinforced nose that the others have, but does not have the shock-absorbing tail of the Quantum.
The Nexus needs a little bit more wind to pick up than the Jazz does, from my experience. So as I said in my review of the Jazz, it was easier to start learning on the Jazz in lighter winds, and then moving on to the Nexus in more moderate winds.
The pictures I show here include the kite with an optional tail that does not come with the base package. It can be ordered directly from Prism, as are spare parts. I managed to break the spine on mine, so it should be noted that you can replace broken parts without needing to buy a whole new kite.
