The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
I looked at every multi-tool availiable before buying this one. It basicly had everything I would need. Price was not a factor but for what it offered [$] was a deal. It was not until I used the tool that I realized it was not made very well. Specificly, the metal is VERY soft and strips/bends easily. The chain tool pin bent during the first use (park sent me a new one). The new tool does not seem any better but I have not had to use it. Next, one of the allen wrenches stripped during its first use. Bottomline, its an AWESOME design and easy to use but made out of cheap metal.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
This is a well made tool for all around use. The two sections are a little awkward, but has many of the most common need tools needed. I have adjusted seat posts, putting quite a bit of torque on the tool with no problem. Would recommend this.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
This thing is loaded with tools, and it's very cleverly designed to give you the most function for the size and weight. The tools feel of good quality, but I worry about the plastic parts. I think they'll last a good while, but obviously not as long as an all-metal construction. Also, this thing is HEAVY! I was amazed how heavy it was, but it's not a big deal considering how much piece of mind this adds. It's a very good deal too, a lot of other tools like this are surprisingly expensive. Includes a nice carrying case too.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
I have used a number of these tools and this is pretty good. It will solve most of your roadside disasters and if it doesnt then you are in big trouble.
Not as good as the individual tools but when you are in the weeds this category of tool is a welcome help.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
This tool is very handy on the trail. It is kind of hard to work with in a tight spot but in a pinch this tool gets you back on the road.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
Bought it because it seemed extremely functional and compact. Came home and tried to remove a pedal and the wrench broke. Will be returning it tomorrow.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
Right off the bat I was disappointed with this tool. Being late for a ride I attempted to attach some new cleats to my shoes at the trail head. It turns out the hex wrench I as attempting to use was juuust barely too large in diameter to fit the bolt properly! I checked my hex heads at home and had no problem with the bolt. How does that happen? Lastly (and this was the clincher) one of the bolts that holds the tool together came out (stripped?) and wouldn't screw back in no matter how much I tried. I eventually returned it and purchased the Crank Bros Multi 17. Fewer tools but at least it's built to last and to the proper tolerances.

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
I loved the tool at first. Except for a patch kit, it's got pretty much everything you might need for an emergency trailside repair. Then I used the chain-tool and it broke almost immediately. The metal seemd too soft and not up for what was required of it. Fortunately this happened in my garage, not on the trail. What good is a tool if you can't rely on it when needed?

Comments about Park Rescue Multi Tool:
Designed well, I used it several times and like the fact that the tool is in two halves with a wedge in the center holding it together. Very easy to use. My friend has a Topeak 18+ which I liked but I believe this one is nicer.
