This jacket is great. I used it in the snow and kept me really warm with only a sweater. I've had this jacket for almost a year and it hasn't torn or anything. It compacts really small into the bag that it comes with. This is an amazing jacket.

There are lighter rain jackets out there but, this one protects you in a full down pour. Mine is an XXL and is about 16 oz. which is heavy in the UL world but you can't beat the price for the protection you get.

I am a Building Inspector in Hawaii. I keep this jacket handy for the daily rains while in the field. So far it's kept me dry in a couple of deluges. The arms seem a little baggy and long for me, although the overall fit is fine. Great price!

I picked up this jacket as something to keep in my bag when I think it'll probably be a wet day, nothing torrential mind you -- just wet. So far it's been great as a light weight waterproof breathable rain jacket.
My only complaint: I bought a small because I'm skinny, and the jacket didn't feel too short when I tried it on (the sleeves were right-on), but when I put the hood up it pulled up the rest of the jacket. Maybe I just have a tall neck, but this means for me that when it's really raining, I can't comfortably use the hood.
Overall, it's a great jacket for rainy weather, but I've got another heavier-duty coat for when it's really pouring.
