This helmet is a work of understated utilitarian art, with all the vents of flashier high-end helmets but without the attitude.

  • Has everything you'd expect in a high-end helmet--Fusion in-mold construction for durability and 16 vents with channeled ventilation for great airflow
  • Also one-hand adjustable GPS fit system, a removable Blade visor and easy-setting cam-lock levers
  • Features in-mold SoftShell bottom wrap to protect helmet's lower from the dings and wear of everyday use
  • Rear VistaLite strap allows riders to add standard flasher lights for increased visibility to others

Small fits head circumference 20 - 21.75 inches, Medium fits 21.75 - 23.25 inches and Large fits 23.25 - 24.75 inches.

    Best helmet I have owned for daily riding (since mid-70's). Everything it was meant to be. Great accessories that work well except mirror is fairly useless and snaps on rain cover could be better designed. Combination of rain cover and winter kit really do the job.

      I've been really happy with my Bell Metro. I got a great deal on one a while ago with all of the extra accessories included. The mirror is indispensable for commuting, and now that cold weather is finally here in Pittsburgh, the winter kit is coming in handy. I also like the strap for the extra light on the back. Can you ever have too many lights?The helmet itself is really solid, very comfortable, and fits great. It doesn't feel heavy to me, but then I've never worn any of the crazy giga-vented racing helmets, so I can't really compare. For commuting, I think this helmet is as close to perfect as can be found.Anyway, I just ordered my second Metro[...]. The first one probably saved my life last night and now I need a replacement. I'll keep buying these as long as Bell keeps making them.

        Greatest Helmet Out there! Nice round egg shape means that the helmet will be less likely to get snagged and yanked in a crash. Fewer and smaller open vents almost spreads the impact better. I think this is makes it safer 9if a bit warmer) than the more expensive aero helmets.

          Great all-rounder helmet come rain or shine. I'd give it a five if the ventilation was a bit better for the really hot days. Accessories like the mirror and rain cover work very well and are convenient. The mirror even folds in flush on the visor when not in use. Strap on rear of helmet holds blinkie light or headlamp battery securely.

          Works well for a commuter bicyclist that does not intend to run races. doesn't look sporty or anything, just pretty basic. It also can fit a rather large head. (my is 7-7/8 and i can still fit a balaclava decently under it)

          This helmet is a great choice for commuting when you don't want a really flashy helmet. It's cool enough that I hardly notice it, even in the Florida heat. Not as light as some other helmets but not heavy enough to be a problem either. The only downside is that it's a bit on the expensive side and the visor (which I don't use) is not great.

            This is a great bike helmet for those who would like a helmet that fits well and is very versatile. I like the design, quality, and the ability to add items to give it more functionality. This is a good helmet for the commuter for it has add-ons designed for us. I also like the fact that I do not look like a speed racer with all of the fins and channels found on the "hardcore" racing styled helmets. While wearing this helmet, I was hit by a car while I was going about 20 mph, and I repurchased this helmet.
