The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
We purchased a new 08 Subaru Outback and I don't trust the factory crossbars. Picked up a set of Thule Crossroad 450 footpack & some crossbars. Very sturdy, installs in less than 15min. All tools necessary are included.
Only complaint, there is a small gap between the locking strap and the body of the foot where wind whistles through. Would be remedied with the installation of a fairing.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
Easy to install, fits my 50" crossbars and carriers I bought 13 years ago...
...only thing I didn't take into account, was the carriers would impede the opening of the hatchback...
...fixed this by turning them around so they hang out over the front of my impreza...no problem.
Overall this is a great product...

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I use the Thule Crossroad set with the 50in square bars on a Chevy HHR. The Crossroad "feet" secure very well to the factory rails, I thought it would be a little shaky but it wasn't at all. With the rails/bars installed, it is only slightly louder on the highway than normal but I honestly was expecting the noise to be worse. (obviously, the HHR is not the most aerodynamic vehicle and it has it's fair share of road noise naturally.) I have noticed about 1mpg decrease for highway fuel economy with the racks installed (and no bikes on it) but nothing that bothers me. I expect it to decrease further once we get the bikes up top, but I prefer this option over our carbon forks rubbing together on a hitch rack.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
Excellent solid fit for adding crossbars to Ford Flex raised rails. Was able to use 78" Thule rectangular bars easily on Ford Flex.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I've preveiously used the Thule bike and ski racks for years on a Ford Explorer with a little noise, however, I installed new 450 Crossroad and bars on a 2006 Toyota Highlander and the wind starts moaning at about 20 mph and gets worse with speed. I've rearranged them with no success. I could buy a fairing but not sure I want more stuff on the roof.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I've had several roof racks, both Yakima and Thule, and these are the best I've had! They are so easy to take on and off, that I only put them on the vehicle when I am going to use them. Further... I use the same set on two vehicles, a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2005 Pontiac Vibe. They work great on both vehicles. I also used them on a 2001 Ford Explorer before that. They last longer because they aren't exposed to the elements as much, by taking them off when not used. Great product that requires less "fiddling around" than any rack I've ever had.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I prefer not to drive with my roof racks on unless I'm actually using them.
These are disappointing because:
- They take a long time to put on
- My extra long bars slide when they are not affixed to the bars on my car.(there doesn't seem to be a way to keep the feet stable on the bars when they are not tightened down to the vehicle.)
- It takes a long time to put them away, since you have screw it down again after removing it, or risk loosing the center caps for the feet.
I haven't used them yet, and I'm sure they'll be fine functionally, but I'm not pleased with how time consuming and fiddly they are.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
This is a great rack system with solid construction and looks great. I had to use a combination of things in order to make it work properly with my aftermarket Defender Roof Rack, but once I set it up and through some boards up there it worked like a charm. The whole setup is pretty easy to install and remove. The setup is also very quiet while on the road and I have not had any rust issues, as some reviewers have reported. Great products guys!
This is what I used to make everything work properly:
-Thule 50" load cross bars
-Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Packs
-Yakima FatCat 6 Ski/Snowboard Mounts

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I really like this product. Much easier to install than other brands I tried. I used this system in conjunction with other manufacture cargo box, and 50 inch bars. Up and running in about 10 minutes. Like the fact that each unit has it's own hex tool included. Traveled cross country to Colorado to visit family. There were no noises, whistling, anything at all! Even at 75mpg. Much less expensive then OEM factory system.

Comments about Thule Crossroad Railing Foot Pack:
I bought this rack for my 2011 Sienna, which was hit from behind and ended up in the shop for two months. Hence, I was able to reinstall this rack onto a Dodge Caravan and a Chrysler Town N Country for the interim while my van was being fixed, easy to install on all three vehicles. There is a little air noise when accessories are not attached, though the air noise was significantly reduced once the J cradles were installed.
