Now with three more tools than the original, this 26-function folding tool has two tool halves that snap together to form a compact unit.

  • Tools fold easily into the hardened plastic case for compact storage
  • Tools include 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8mm Allen wrenches, 8, 9 and 10mm box wrenches, Phillips and flathead screwdrivers, and a mini pedal wrench
  • Comes with T25 Torx bit (fits on 4mm Allen) for disc brake rotor bolts and a universal chain tool
  • Also features spoke wrenches for 14g and 15g, two tire levers, stainless-steel knife and a bottle opener--all tools lock into place for safety
  • A 10mm Allen socket for Shimano's new LX crank bolt and a compartment for two chain pins are included
  • All this, and yet it's light and small enough to ride in your pocket!
  • Molded plastic body provides excellent gripping surface while using tools
  • Comes with a nylon carrying case with a belt-loop attachment

    This tool always comes with me on any of my longer rides. It has just about every tool you could want on the road or trail for everything from minor adjustments to emergency repairs. The tools are so handy that I sometimes find myself reaching for my Alien in the garage too, rather than digging through the tool box. The only con I've found is that despite the separating halves (which certainly helps) the tool can still sometimes be a little too clunky or short to reach where you need it to. 99% of the time though, it gets the job done.

      It lives in my camelback. Wouldn't leave for a mountain bike ride without it. I've actually used it for various trailside repairs and it always comes through.

        I commute to work, shop, exercise, and have fun on my bike. On and off the road. This is a great tool, you can repair about 80% of any problems that might happen with your bike. I've used this tool many times to help others on the trails. Has a handy little storage place for extra chain pins, doesn't come with them unfortunately.

        Unfortunately, it's flippin' heavy, clunky, and a lot of the tools don't lock in place. It has a very sharp knife that locks, but that gets in the way of using the tire levers. You don't want to open the knife when you're trying to get a tire off, but if you leave it closed it gets in the way.
