Comments about Electra Hawaii 1 16-Inch Girls' Bike - 2013:
My daughter uses this daily for rides in the neighborhood- She will even bike more than 3 miles to daycare on it and its holding up well. She loves the pink. I love that its not Princess and better made than many other children's bikes.
Downsides? Its heavy and not as adjustable as I'd hoped.
My daughter had had a runbike before this bike and I was hoping we'd skip training wheels. While that might have been possible with a bike with different geometry it didn't work with this one. I was drawn to Electra because of their "flat foot technology" for adult bikes; I reasoned if she could sit on the seat and put her feet down, she'd be ready to ride. Unfortunately, while the bike fit her at 3 and 1/2, her toes could barely reach the ground. No flat feet technology on this one. A little after age 4 we did take the training wheels off, and the weight does help the bike's stability.

Comments about Electra Hawaii 1 16-Inch Girls' Bike - 2013:
After finding many cheap quality bikes, I came across the Electra Bike for my daughter's third B-Day. She is smitten by pink/Princess Barbie.....it was love at first site. The one downside, for a 28 lb, 3' 2", 3-year old was the weight of the bike (approx 28 lbs). Although it's a very smooth drive, she had some difficulty establishing forward momentum. But, once there it's all smiles. Further, if your child is short there is likely to be an issue reaching the peddles. My daughter was just tall enough, at the seats lowest possible setting. I'd say great bike for 3.5 yrs +.
