Comments about PacSafe Daysafe Secure Daypack:

My husband purchased the pack for my first trip to Bhutan in 2005. I have hauled this bag to 9 other countries since then and LOVE it. There is room for my laptop, digital SLR camera, a change of clothes, toiletries, travel blanket, pillow, and tripod. I use the straps on the outside to secure my tripod to the pack. I can't say enough about this bag and it's security features. I actually have a slice mark in the bottom from when someone really did try to cut into the pack while I was at a market in Bangkok. Any other pack would have yielded the thief all sorts of goodies, but nothing came out of mine.In fact, either the would be thief used a dull blade or the pack is made of darn good material(I'm going with the latter) because it just looks like a scrape mark on the bottom of the bag. All cosmetic, the bag is still as good as new,but it's clear someone tried to slice through it. Yep, this bag is a definite MUST HAVE for the occasional once a year traveler or the travel weary road warrior. If you ever plan to hike one trail, take one flight or sail on one cruise, then you've gotta have this daypack.

Comments about PacSafe Daysafe Secure Daypack:

Loved being able to leave the "safe" locked to a secure object in our hotel room or vehicle while we used the backpack portion daily. Very easy to manage.
Even with the safe inserted, the backpack is light and roomy.
Heavily used for 3 weeks in Central America and highly recommend.
I didn't worry about our passports while they were stored in the safe and locked around the toilet base.
I love PacSafe Products. They are well worth the expense.

Comments about PacSafe Daysafe Secure Daypack:

I used this backpack overseas for three years. It is designed well and the material is military grade tuff; it hasn't acquired one tear after repeated weekly uses.

I used the removable 'inner-safe' to store my computer and valuables in the hotel room and at my own residence while traveling. I rarely used the safe in the bag while traveling, as it is heavy; yet, I found it a very useful item to leave behind with the laptop and passport secured.

The two vertical cinch straps are great for rain gear, a sleeping bag, or sleeping pad. The size is perfect for a weekend trip if one packs light. I'l be using this bag for years to come. No doubt about that. The quality is this bag's best feature.
