The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Stohlquist 2mm Sandal Socks with Fleece Lining:
I love these things. When paired with my venerable Teva sandals (which I just had re-soled) they make me feel invulnerable to giant water bugs, other inimical life-forms which I am convinced lurk in waterways, and rocks. Another character defect of mine is a prone-ness to stubbed toes.
The smell mentioned by other reviewers just manifested itself two days ago- my car reeked like low tide. Turned 'em inside-out, threw 'em in with a load of laundry, they came out great. They're tough, they can handle a normal laundry cycle.

Comments about Stohlquist 2mm Sandal Socks with Fleece Lining:
Before I decided to invest in water shoes, I picked up a pair of these to wear with my keens while paddling. They kept my feet warm, and were great with sandals. They are without soles and really are just water socks, so if you intend to use them alone, you'll have no fun walking around on rocks.
I found the fit snug, and noted still that they were true to size, as you want something like this to be snug to reduce sand intrusion and rubbing.
Also, another review noted they were stinky. I find that anything I use in the ocean, if not properly rinsed with fresh water, will get pretty funky. Always rinse your gear as soon as you are able!

Comments about Stohlquist 2mm Sandal Socks with Fleece Lining:
I bought these to wear with Chacos sandals when it's cold out, while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.
I have used neoprene socks with sandals for thousands of miles and not had a problem with them smelling, but these socks stank so badly that it was a problem carrying them around.
Finally I ditched them because they stank so bad.
So if you are looking for a trail sock for cold wet weather to wear with sandals I would stick with the regular neoprene.

Comments about Stohlquist 2mm Sandal Socks with Fleece Lining:
I have used these socks several times. Kayak all year long, this winter has been especially cold. Wear the socks with sandals while launching. In the boat I remove the sandals. They have kept my feet warm until the last 30 minutes of a 2 1/2 hour trip. They only got cold in the heal which was resting against the hull in very cold water. Very good buy for the price. The fit was very tight the first several uses but that helps with insulation. If your on the upper end of a size, go up.

Comments about Stohlquist 2mm Sandal Socks with Fleece Lining:
I use these every time I paddle thru the fall, winter and spring. Thats usually 3-4 times a week for about an hour-2 hours each time.
They are the only thing that works in my flatwater sprint kayak, and they keep my feet warm and toastie all winter long.
One pair seems to get me thru the winter, by spring the heels are starting to wear a bit thin.
On really cold days my heels start to get cold after 45+ minutes as the pressure as I am paddling compresses the neoprene and the cold water conducts thru, but that only happens 2-3 times a year.
A great product, I am on my second pair, and will be purchasing again this fall when the water temp starts to drop again.
