Comments about Chaco Flips Flip-Flops - Women's:
I bought my first pair of Chaco flip flops in 2005, and have finally replaced them with the exact same shoe, in 2012. When I lived in WI, I wore them every day in the summer to the beach for vacations and hiking the trails in southern WI. I wore them in Hawaii and hiked in them to Oahu's Monoa Falls. We went off trail, through running water, still water, up large rocks and to the next waterfall and I didn't slip at all. Then my husband and I moved to Tampa, FL and I wore them virtually every day, all year round. I was a student walking on campus and a nanny who took kids for hour long walks daily. I used these shoes for day trips to Disney World and Bush Gardens. They were my go to shoes for EVERYTHING. The strap finally ripped off the bottom of the shoe after 7 years... not surprising considering how much they had been used. My husband now owns a pair and I just bought another. Just make sure that when you purchase a pair, that the straps don't chafe your foot. Sometimes the seams are rough (but can be smoothed out with a nail file). You won't regret this purchase, I know I haven't!

I have a heel spur and wanted a casual shoe/ flip flop. My daughter suggested this one...and I am very happy with it. I have support and my heel doesn't hurt after wearing them all day. She has a pair that are 3 years old and are still in great shape.

Comments about Chaco Flips Flip-Flops - Women's:
I just ordered my third pair of flips. My first pair I wore out and Chaco doesn't rethread the flips (only down side to these shoes). I wear these everywhere (work, camp, weddings...everywhere!!!). And I wear them all winter long. In the middle of the winter I will wear my winter boots to work and then put on my flips (and pray that the fire alarm doesn't go off...I'm a teacher in the mtns of Colorado). Finally ordered a black pair...they go with everything!

I lived in West Africa for two years and wore these sandals every single day. I would wear them on sunny days and rainy days. They are comfortable, form to your feet, and are durable (I still wear them!) Love these with a passion!!!

Comments about Chaco Flips Flip-Flops - Women's:
I first heard of Chaco's when I moved to Seattle in 2008. Bought these in black and have never worn another brand since then. In fact, I am still wearing the first pair of black Chaco flip flops I purchased in 2008. They are indestructible.
The footbed on these flip flops provide excellent traction for bare feet, especially when wet. Especially important when I come out of the water after scuba diving. Trying to take off heavy gear while wearing slippery flip flops is a recipe for disaster. I've never had a single problem when I wear my Chaco's after a dive.
I wear Chaco's everywhere. I can wear them all day without any discomfort whatsoever...even if I walk for miles and miles. Hands down, these are the best flip flops I've ever had. I refuse to wear any other brand.

Comments about Chaco Flips Flip-Flops - Women's:
I resisted shelling out the dough on these for a long time. But after cycling through several pairs of soft-soled flip-flops by other brands, I splurged on these Chacos and haven't regretted it.
Once broken in, you'll live in them. I've had the same pair for four years. I wear them for everyday use around town, running errands, or just hanging out. I've taken them traveling, to the beach, the pool, and sight-seeing. I've even worn them at several outdoor music festivals. And they've gone for a spin in the washing machine on several occasions. After that much abuse, the color on the straps has faded, but the structure of the footbed remains intact (which is important for me, because I have virtually no arch). These will give you the freedom of a sandal but with sturdier support, and will hold up to pretty much anything. Another plus is the material of the footbed -- it is very resistant to moisture and dries quickly (never had any problems with odor).
If the price is holding you back, just go for it. Best flip-flips I've ever owned!

I love these flip flops! These get chosen over anything else I have. They're really comfortable and super cute. I had to get a size up though. I wear 10s, and although they are true to size when it comes to length, this flip flop runs narrow.

I bought my first pair of Chaco flips after suffering through a bad bout of plantar fasciatis. I thought the arch support might help my feet and they are indeed the BEST flip flops you will EVER own. Great arch support, sturdy construction and stylish design make these a no-brainer. I own about 7 pairs and wear them every day, all summer long. They are expensive, but worth it.

Comments about Chaco Flips Flip-Flops - Women's:
After too many years of cheap rubber flip flops, I am absolutely thrilled with my Chacos. My feet, ankles, knees, and hips are happy. As other reviewers have commented, they do need a break-in period, but that's not necessarily a negative thing. As with my Chaco Z2s, the break-in period creates a custom fit for your feet.
I don't wear shoes if I don't have to, but when shoes are required, I wear Chacos.
