Comments about Wilderness Press Pacific Crest Trail: Northern California - 6th Edition:

The book has all the basic info for the PCT and is relatively accurate. The trail descriptions and maps are not on adjacent pages so you have to jump around trying to find the map that goes with the description. The descriptions of accessing off trail water sources were very inaccurate. Many "easy 10 minute walks to always reliable water" turned out to be one hour of thrashing to a dry creek or mud hole. You also have to suffer through the authors whinning about the Forest Service and where they built the trail and how they manage it. The useful data in the book could have been displayed in a spreadsheet printed on the back of the trail maps. Overall the book has all the information needed.
