            Although this seems marketed to kids, I thought it would be a good alternative to wearing my watch on trail. During a light drizzle the watch went out and moisture appeared under the display shortly afterwards. Hardly waterproof as described. The LED is highly diffused so you need to be very close to your subject in near blackout conditions for it to be useful.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            I bought this to keep on my key chain so I would always know the time. Sometimes I also need a quick light too. I thought this would be perfect. The light still works, but is dim. The clock stopped working after a week. Don't buy if just for clock. Plus if you want a light, buy a led key chain light. Those are much brighter

                  Comments about Hogwild Zipper Pull Watch and Light:

                  I loved mine and used it for a couple of years on my pack. The plastic cover cracked when I tried to replace the battery, though. I will get another, since it is very compact and lightweight. Buy this if you want the lightest watch around. The light is tiny, so don't buy it for illumination.

                      Looked fun, small and I hate watches, seemed like a good idea & it came in purple and grey. But this does not work, hard to set, battery was dead, did not work. Really a waste of money. Don't buy. To small and unimportant to return. Would be a fun cracker jack tool, any other use disappointing.
