Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
I want you to know that they are the most disappointing purchase I've ever made from REI. I've been a member for more than thirty-five years.
The briefs have almost no "pouch" and the material they're made of doesn't help that part of the brief conform to male anatomy. They'd have been a great brief for a woman!
Since I bought them and I've been grindingly annoyed about the purchase. I haven't worn the briefs in months, have even thrown some away, but those I still have sit in my dresser drawer and remind me of how sorry I was to have purchased them every time I see them.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
I have no gripe with the fabric. It seems to breathe well and I haven't experienced chafing.
The cut is what I don't like. I would prefer a slightly lower rise, and unfortunately I have to agree with the reviewer who complained about the lack of pouch. No bragging here-- it's legit.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
I am a "boxer" person at home, but these briefs are great for hiking and backpacking. They are comfortable in humid conditions and dry quickly after getting caught in the rain or swimming. They are easy to wash on the trail.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
This pair I use for running. I like them mostly because they are moisture wicking, and feel soft too. The quick drying feature makes them especially handy when swimming, or camping.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
The other guys are correct--there isn't any provision for the male parts and that makes them unacceptable for any male. I only purchased one and I am going to take it back. There isn’t any reason to leave them in your drawer when REI guarantees satisfaction.
I am satisfied with the EXOFFICIO Brief from REI and recommend it instead of the REI one.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
I was disappointed in the feel of the material and they didn't feel true to size. I have several older pairs of REI MTS briefs made of 96% poly and 4% Spandex that fit and feel much better. They also provide the wicking comfort that is needed here in the desert.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
Take your worst worn out set of worn out briefs with no elastic left in the leg holes, double the discomfort, and you have this product. I'm sure they breathe, but with a fit like that, they don't need to because whatever needs fresh air is sure getting plenty. I gave it one star because that's the lowest rating the computer would accept.

Comments about REI Mesh MTS Briefs - Men's:
These are really nice wear. I bought just one pair online in case I didn't like them. They breathe well and are comfortable. These will be great for hiking and snowboarding - they won't get soggy like cotton. The only downside is that they are a bit pricey. I will be buying more and replacing my cotton inventory.
