      This is a great basic mat. A bit slippery for sweaty palms, but a yoga instructor told me thats from the coating most yoga mat companies put on mats and you can scrub it off, use a little towel when you practice, or get a non-slip mat cover. I practice yoga 1-2 times a week and I've had the mat for about 2 years. It's still in good shape!

      I'm not sure if the slipperiness goes away after a while. Otherwise it seems tough and durable and people compliment the design.

      Nice thick cushy mat. I use it for bikram yoga 3 to 4 times a week and it's gets very slippery, need to use a towel on top of it.
