    I've used these bottles everywhere. I used to only buy the wide mouthed ones, but I find it easier to drink out of the narrow mouthed ones. They are not any harder to clean, which is what I thought previously. You must protect them from the weather as they are not insulated. In hot climates, they'll get hot, in cold weather they will freeze of course.

      I've gone through lots of inferior bottles and always dealt with leaks and smelly plastic even with the [$]. Nalgene is the best. The plastic is super thick, holds no odor, and the narrow mouth has a nice smooth lip for easy drinking without spilling all over the place. Also, I noticed all of my other bottles collected water around the threads of the top and then dripped all over the place when you open them...these bottles DO NOT have this problem. I'm very satisfied :)

      This is the best bottle that you can buy. It holds a lot of water and it will last you a good portian of the day. You can put anything, that will fit in the top, inside it and it secerly holds it. Use can even use it as dry storage for like a map of something. I could go on and on about this bottle, but i sugest buying and see for yor self, its only [$]!!!

        Great bottle for everyday use. The narrow mouth makes it a little hard to clean, and more prone to freezing in cold weather, but other than that there's nothing wrong with this bottle.

        Good bottle but the wide lower part make it harder to hold when driving. Also this bottle is hard to fill with our fridge water dispenser b/c of the narrow opening.
        I would recommend this product for more backpacking and river adventures and not car travel as it is too big to fit in most cup holders.

        These are a great product, because they spill less than the wide mouth bottles. The only trouble is that they're hard to fill from streams. I just use this kind on day hikes.

          I like the narrower mouth on this bottle for being in the car--makes it much easier to keep your eyes where they should be. I also take one with me to work every single day. Not prone to leak, super durable, but wish the loop was nylon or something other than plastic. Overall a pretty good bottle.

              I really liked the way the water made it into my mouth and not all over my shirt with this bottle. But a few uses later I realized the interior wasn't completly drying between washes. Despite my efforts, I ended up with some yummy mold fuzz in the bottle and had to trash it.
