Comments about EN-R-G Foods Honey Stinger Energy Gel Packet:
The sweetness can be overwhelming, but mixed with water it's a great snack, especially if you're looking for a change of pace from the routine gels and bars. As an adventure racer, it's a great source of carbs during long training sessions.

Comments about EN-R-G Foods Honey Stinger Energy Gel Packet:
I use the Gold flavor as a substitute for honey in my tea and oatmeal when I go backpacking. It's much easier to carry than regular honey and provides extra vitamins and an energy boost before I start climbing all those hills!

Comments about EN-R-G Foods Honey Stinger Energy Gel Packet:
I had not used gels/gu/etc. in my training, then thought I could get used to them in the weeks prior to "the long race" of the year. Bad idea. GU was too thick and strong, gummies were too cumbersome...stinger was just right. Went down smooth and easy. I still like the taste better than the alternatives. Highly recommended if you need nutrition for a race but haven't properly (months in advance) trained with it!

Comments about EN-R-G Foods Honey Stinger Energy Gel Packet:
I tried the gold one and the ginsting. Both Were great. Much better then that...other stuff. It held my stomach hunger off for a while. I could see some improved energy. But then again climbing is exciting! These also taste very good in green jasmine tea on a cold morning.

Comments about EN-R-G Foods Honey Stinger Energy Gel Packet:
Honey Stinger goes down easier than other gel/gus/gummies I've tried and provides a better boost. It's easy to tear off w/just one hand and your teeth.
Cons: You'll get leftover gooey honey in your jersey pocket, but that's with any gel/gu based energy product you use.
