      I bought 2 pairs of these for my then 18 month old twin girls. I bought them a little too big and one of my girls still uses the original pair after a year and a half. These shoes are extremely durable and have a nice flexible sole. One of my girls has narrow feet and one has wide, and these shoes fit both feet beautifully. My girl with wide feet had to move up a size sooner than the one with narrow feet, but we have had no issues at all with quality or anything ripping or falling apart. They have gotten wet and dirty and still function perfectly. I'm considering buying more in the next size up but I'm just a little bored with the color after a year and a half.

        Our toddler has been wearing these shoes since he turned 1 (he's 22 months now). We have gotten him cool running shoes, rain boots, winter boots, and several other types of regular shoes. He won't wear anything except his Merrells. He calls them "comfy shoes" when asked which shoes he wants to wear. He has very wide feet and these fit him perfectly! Highly recommended, especially for new walkers (great soft soles). They are also fairly water resistant, a plus for a kid who won't wear boots.

        We love these shoes for our son. He is growing so fast, we have gone through 3 sizes in the past year. I do wish these shoes came in larger sizes as our son is already wearing a toddler 10. Additional colors would be great too.

        Great toddler/preschool shoe. My daughter has a high instep and these were the only shoes that would fit her. I am so glad we spent the money. She was able to put them on by herself at 2 so they are a great first shoe. It has been 9 months and the shoes are still going. Great for all outdoor activities.

          My son has done a lot of wear on these shoes. It was a great transition from soft-soled baby shoes. He has been wearing them everyday for over 3 months. I am very happy with the quality and style of these shoes.
