Paired-down to a weight saving bare minimum, this Adventure Medical Kits first-aid kit weighs less than 7 oz., yet still contains the most essential supplies.

  • Designed for life in the bottom of the pack, zippered nylon pouch has 2 inner Aloksak® pouches to ensure contents are kept clean and dry
  • Wound care items: 3 butterfly closure strips, 3 triple antibiotic ointments, 5 antiseptic towelettes and 1 pair of nitrile gloves
  • Bandages: 8 sterile dressings, 2 non-adherent sterile dressings, 1 conforming bandage, 4 adhesive and 3 knuckle bandages
  • 10 yards adhesive tape, 1 tincture of benzoin, 1 elastic bandage and 11 precut and shaped moleskin pieces
  • Medications: 8 ibuprofen, 2 antihistamine and 2 AfterBite® sting-relief wipes
  • Other equipment: Splinter picker forceps, 3 safety pins and duct tape

    This is a very good pared down kit. This is not the keep in your trunk or garage in case of emergency kit. This is the small enough that you darn well better bring it on the trail kit - no excuses about bulk or weight. The duct tape is redundant for me, so I took that out. Saved a lot of weight there. Could use more and better blister treatment, added that. It's a kit, so you should personalize it a bit. Add a little, remove little or nothing. This plus the Personal Survival Pak and you're pretty good.

      The kit is simple and straightforward in content and does what it claims to do very well. It is not anything special, but gives you a solid kit in a small and light watertight package.
