I found this book great for introducing people to climbing. The book covers many different areas of climbing and covers most of the basics in an easy to understand and fun way.

If you enjoy comic books and climbing, get this. If you just like comic books or climbing, then merely consider getting this as something for the coffee table.

The comics are entertaining, but veteran climbers will find nothing new in this book. Definitely geared towards the novice climber - the comical/exaggerated visual images might help some of those lessons you were taught at the local gym stick in your head.
