My boyfriend had the men's version in blue and his shoes survived the wear and tear. So I bought a pair of my own. The "sand" (or beige) color for women's matches almost anything. They are comfortable and easy to slip on and off especially in between climbs when rock climbing. These are excellent for letting your tootsies breathe during summer time. I haven't walked in water with them though. I'd buy it again and recommend it for friends, but I can't say they are perfect since I haven't tried other pairs.

I wear these shoes whenever I can. They are easy on and off. They breath great and dry well when wet. I have even ran up to 8 miles in them on different occasions. They are very versatile and fit incredibly well because of the adjustment features.

They destroyed my feet each time I wore them. The first time I went into the ocean, then walking and the rough seams really wore blisters. (ok i should have broken them in). Later, though, even with socks they still hurt my feet. Very disappointed.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Kauai because they seemed to provide the versatility I was looking for-- a shoe I could run in, hike in, and wear in the water without fear of my toes getting slammed by rocks. They were also super-cute.

Unfortunately, they sat in my closet and were useless for anything but recreational knocking around because the heel strap slips and doesn't stay tight, causing the shoe to fall off the back of my foot. I cannot hike in them because after just a few steps the shoe starts to slip off the back of my foot. Can't run in them either. I'm too active to justify this, so they have turned out to be just a waste of space and money. I am very disappointed.

I don't think this is just me because since I bought them I have read similar criticisms on Zappos.com.

I bought these shoes for a water-rafting trip where I wanted shoes that I could use in the river as well as for the hikes. These shoes were really comfortable for the river (they dry fast) and also very good for hiking along the canyons (They protect your feet in the water as well as on the hikes). I've also used them during everyday activities, I would greatly recommend getting them!
