Love my buff(s)!!!
I wear my buffs all the time. They're great for hiking and are perfect for blocking wind from my ears. They're also perfect for wearing under a bike helmet. Some have said they're too pricey, but when you go on a per use basis, they end up costing nothing. I've been wearing the three I have for three years now and none of them show any wear at all (and, seriously, I wear them ALL THE TIME). They never fade or fray or stretch out or shrink. Well worth the money spent on them. The only reason I buy more is to have more color options. :)
Wonderful and versatile
Buffs are great, and very versatile. Keeps you warm in winter and cool in summer. I gave 4 stars only because I recommend their UV buff over the basic one. If you're gonna use it in the summer, it's a no brainier. UV protection is a must, and they're only a couple bucks more. And perhaps as importantly, the UV line of buffs are made with coolmax. The material is much better quality. (In fact, I think the UV protection is simply a beneficial side effect of the better fabric, so Buff just advertises it like it was meant to be. ;) I think the coolmax not only extends the products use into the summer better, but also is more comfortable and functional.
awesome!
I love Buff! It's so versatile and you can wear it in so many ways. When it was super sunny I'd wear it so it protected my neck. Then other times when I'd get really hot, I'd soak it in the rivers I'd cross then put it on as a headband and it felt amazing.
awesome! great on the trail
In the summer, the original buff keeps the sun off my head and neck. (depending on which style i choose to wear in, because it's really versatile) and in the winter, i wear it over my face/neck along with a wool beanie and the hood of my gore-tex coat to keep my face and head warm. does great! super soft and comfortable. gotta love it!
multi purpose
My husband and I both love to be "buffed". These are so versatile, and actually kind of fun to wear. I frequently change mine around to various shapes when i wear it. My husband misplaced his, so he's been borrowing one of mine. We decided they work much better than a bandana for catching the sweat drips before they run in your eyes. I use mine mostly for keeping my hair pushed back off my face. I stay much cooler if my hair is back while hiking. Last year, we did a six-day backpack adventure and we used our Buffs daily in various ways, beanies included.
Great for chemo patients
When I started chemotherapy, this scarf was recommended by another cancer patient. It is easy to slip on rather than trying to tie a regular scarf so it looks good on your bald(ing) head. It's warm, protects the scalp from sun (very important during treatment), and cool during the summer. It also wicks away moisture when you sweat. I have 4 different styles and love them all. I've even wear them to bed when my head feels cold. My hair is growing back now, but I still wear them when I walk my dogs to protect my scalp. And I'll probably wear them after I have a full head of hair back, just because they're so versatile. A great head solution for cancer patients.
My security blanket!
I got my first buff when I was just in the 6th grade: for my first ever week-long backpacking trip. Now I'm a college freshman, and that buff has ended up traveling with me around the world: to the streets of Paris, hiking in the Swiss Alps, exploring the rainforests of Costa Rica, and in the everyday adventures of life in general. That orange-patterned tube of fabric has essentially become my security blanket of sorts, and I never leave home for a trip without it. Buffs are incredibly versatile, and can be used in nearly any situation. Dress it up or down; the only limitation is the color you choose. This was one buy that I definitely do NOT regret!
another Buff convert!
I have a very low hairline, so I am constantly struggling to keep my hair out of my face, especially when working out or hiking. For years, I used a bandanna, until I saw a friend with a Buff and asked her about it. I bought my first one and have to say it is a huge improvement over the bandanna! It does slip sometimes (but so does the bandanna), but overall it does the job and I love that I can use it as a neck gaiter, etc., as well. And I confess, when I see pictures of myself in it, I look a lot less dorky than I did in the bandanna! I plan to buy at least a couple more in other colors. Great job taking a simple idea and making it work!
Love The Buff!
I used the Buff for the first time in the boundary waters as a scarf (it was cold, water temp 42!), but also as a hoodie under my baseball cap. Then when it got windy, I wore it over my cap so I wouldn't lose it. I wore it as sun protection, and to keep my fine hair from flying into my eyes as I paddled across the wilderness. . . it's also great to keep bugs off your face, too! I am buying another one because I LOVE it SO much!!!
Buff Wears
I never leave home with out my Buffs! They have come in handy so many ways:from keeping dust out of my face/lungs when we were on a very dusty back road in New Zealand-I used it to keeping the cold wind out while mushing in Alaska; it's my hair band when hiking; an addition to clothing in place of a scarf-it dressed up my shirts/sweater. The "no weight" to them makes it ideal to travel with. They fit into a pocket/backpack etc. Washing is easy-dries quickly.
