Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
Greyhounds have no built-in padding. As a result they are connoisseurs of comfy lounging spots. These beds are nearly universally adored by retired Greyhounds everywhere. If one dog stands up another one steals the bed. Even have a pick of two Greys sleeping ying & yang style on one bed. They are light, packable, portable, comfortable, durable, easy to wash & dry, sized for large dogs, & even great as crate mats. The only con is that the bottom is slick nylon so they slide easily on slick floors. That bothers me, but not the dogs.

I travel with my dogs... 70 pounds each! Camping and car travel are easier with this little gem. While a greyhounds legs are longer than the dimensions, she doesn't seem to mind! I use this in the back of the car for travel, put it directly on the ground near the campfire, and them move it inside the tent for a bed. She knows to follow the comfort!

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
My 2 y/o Chocolate lab McKenzie loves her bed. She sleeps on it every night at home, then we pack it up in a Sea to Summit compression sack and away we go. It packs down as small 7"x12", the same size as my Kelty Light Year down bag. Both fit in the sleeping bag compartment on my Bora 80 pack. She goes on every backpacking and camping trip and so does her bed.
The top is soft almost like microfiber, and shows now signs of wear despite plenty of dirt, slobber, pawing, ash, sap, constant wet dog soakings, all other doggie activities and multiple washings.
The bottom is blue rip-stop material. It feels just like a sleeping bag and is somewhat water resistant. The bed sheds dirt with ease. Just a quick shake before bed and the tent stays clean.
She knows to stay on her bed so no toe nail punctures in the bottom of the tent yet. fingers crossed.
This bed rocks, you won't be disappointed.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
My lab puppy loves this bed, all 65lbs of him. It fits perfectly in the back of my Jeep Liberty. It does attract sand/dirt from his fur, and stuff clings to it. But, it's easy to shake out and fluff.
Pros: Washes easily, wears well, good for hot/cold weather. Cons: Gets thin spots, not very padded, slips around in the back of the car.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
Our regular camping spot drops to about 28F overnight. My Rhodesian Ridgeback uses this for warmth just as much as cushioning. Fold once and it rolls up quickly, then cram it into the stuff sack. The handy and sturdy carabiner-clippable handle allows for quickly adding to my backpack before the hike out. It's just as easy to extract from the sack and it doesn't blow around in the wind, either. Doubles as a comforter when other cushioning is available.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
Our Vizsla loves this bed. I originally got it to line his kennel when shipping him overseas. We kept it in there as he sleeps in the kennel at night, but we also take it with us on trips from camping to overnights at our parents' homes. Wherever you put it, he will sleep on it. It's also nice to line the car seats while travelling. Super easy to clean, just throw it in the washer. We have had it over 3 years now with daily use and it still looks great. It's nice in the summer also when a fleecy bed would be too hot.

Comments about Canine Hardware Travel Bed:
These beds are a great size for larger dogs, light and packable for camping. They are also great to take along to friends' houses where the dogs are immediately at home on their own soft furniture. They are nice and durable for outdoor as well as indoor use. Auggie and Winona, my dobie mixes give them two paws up!

the ease of washing this makes it perfect. I have bought many dog beds then threw them out when the insides got gross and have wasted a lot of money until I found this product
