This pen has been great. We received the original silver one years ago. It is small and easy to keep in a purse, glove compartment, camera case, pack etc. It's lightweight so it's no trouble to take along. It works great to take field notes or to keep score while playing campfire games. It writes at any angle so you can even write with it while lying down. So you can watch the stars or relax in the hammock and keep a journal of your trip.
