This is the perfect all-around wear anywhere fleece. I recently spent time trekking in Nepal. The weather went from low 30s in the morning and night to low 80s during the day. I lived in this fleece because it is warm enough to wear in cool weather, light enough to throw in your day pack when it is time to take it off, and thin enough to fit under a shell or down jacket when the weather is very cold.
I initially got this fleece because my office was too cold at times and I needed a sweater to wear. I mistakenly thought this would a cheap fleece that would essentially be a throw-away. I was completely mistaken, and the fleece has left my office and become my main fall / winter adventure fleece.

I was looking for a piece that I could use for the cool fall weather, but also for winter layering on top of thermal shirt and below ski jacket. So far, this fleece is very soft and comfortable - perfect amount of warth for chilly weather. It is also light enough that it fits into my layers nicely.

Great fleece. Fits to the body so it doesn't get caught up when hiking with a pack on or to wear as an extra layer in a sleeping bag. Lightweight and relatively compactable so if fits easily in a pack without taking up to much space or adding to much weight.

I own 6 or 7 fleece tops, but this one is the one I reach for 90% of the time.
The 100 wt fleece adds some warmth under a shell without adding much bulk or weight to your pack.
When moving in the fleece alone, it breathes well; its essentially transparent to water vapor. Some might gripe about the lack of 'wind protection', but that is the advantage of fleece; it traps some heat while being highly breathable.
I didn't buy it to be fashionable, but it is not out of place in a casual urban environment.. it is not too plain or poorly tailored to be limited to the trail.
If all my fleece tops melted in a fire; this is the one I would replace.

I use this thing for anything you can think of from school to climbing. It feels so soft and it is so comfortable. The natural colors look great. It is really warm for its weight, and is a great insulating layer. Only downside is it does get quiete hot when its warm out, or when your inside, but its not enough to make me think twice about wearing it.

This is a great fleece that I love to wear. It fits me extremely well. It is very soft as well as very comfortable. After he saw how much I liked it my Dad bought one and he loves it aswell. I would highly reccommend the blue color but the orange is also pretty good. I use this by itself if its just cool and I can easily add a layer in the event that conditions decline. The only thing that isn't great about this fleece is that sometimes it is difficult to put on or take off becaus it is only quarter zip. But even this minor inconvience is only a small problem for me since I don't usually take it off verry often (due to how comfortable it is). I would definately buy another one if mine were to ever have an incident with an extremly sharp rock or protruding stick (not that I expect it to easily rip but it is possible).
