Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
An adjustable cage is a good idea, but it won't fit standard Nalgene wide mouth water bottles. Also, long non-standard bike bottles won't fit, since the black plastic back has a curved section that won't allow long flat sided bottle to fit.

Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
This is currently the best cage on the market if you use bottles which vary in size. You adjust the size by turning a knob. Unfortunately, over time the adjustment drifts, so you need to readjust the setting. The other adjustable Topeak cage, Modula EX, which was put out actually later onto the market, flexes too much during riding under a heavy full bottle, to hold the bottle well. Because of the adjustment and somewhat optimal springiness, Modula can hold bottles well no matter whether they are elastic or rigid such as in the case of a thermos.

Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
This is the ONLY cage I could find that holds a 750ml Camelback Lexan Bottle. Won't hold a Nalgene, but Camelbak bottle is superior anyway. I bought 2 of these and can now carry 1.5 liters of extra water. Also, I don't have to strap the hydration pack to my bak in hot weather.

Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
I bought this last year with the CamelBak Podium Bottle (24oz.) and had no problems. It was easy taking the bottle out and putting it back, very effortless. I didn't have to worry about the bottle slipping out of the cage. When I rode my bike for a few miles and wanted to bring a 20 oz. bottle of water, had no problems changing the diameter of the water bottle cage.
I am planning on purchasing another one for my bike, so that I don't need to bring my CamelBak hydration pack on a two hour bike ride.

I use this product on my motorised montague, the aluminum cages keep breaking on me, I use the 33oz. msr fuel bottle, it holds it snugly.

Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
I picked this up on a sale; can't beat [$]. I generally don't require more than a 20oz bottle of water on my rides, so this cage works totally well for me. I love that it's adjustable, so I can "custom-fit" the cage to whatever type of bottle I've got at the time.As others have said, it's a little on the small side, though, so if you're going on a long ride or need more hydration than that, you'll want a bigger cage or a hydration pack.

Comments about Topeak Modula Cage:
I put one of these on my women's Diamondback Clarity 1 which came with screws in the holes already. Installation was a breeze and is idiot-proof. The black backing is made from a durable and stiff plastic while the cage is made from a lightweight metal also boasting the same properties.
My only gripe about this product is that adjusting the size of the cage takes a bit of work since the device that controls the sizing at the bottom is rather small. This normally isn't much of a problem, except that it takes some work to twist since it's quite tight. As far as size, I'm 5'4" and have rather large hands for a woman my size, but I'm willing to bet that this may be a challenge for men with generally larger hands or fingers. In addition, it's much easier to make it smaller than to make it larger. I figure a little bit of oil or silicone may help with this, though.
The perfect solution is the adjustment mechanism on the Topeak Modula EX Cage but the frame and materials from this product.
Service and delivery comments:
I picked up this product at the San Carlos store. Unfortunately, they did not carry this product in Fremont or Mountain View.

I have this on my Specialized HardRock. Fitting was a breeze, and so is the adjustment. Use this with the Novara bottles and no issues at all.
Well designed product
