Comments about Scotty Fly Rod Holder:

I bought two of these for our kayaks and was surprised that they didn't come with any mounting instructions or recommendations on where to mount them to the boat. So, if you buy this your choice is to figure out how to mount and find the hardware or buy Scotty's clamp mount which costs more than the rod holder.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
