Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
Although good for my intended use of sun protection and comfort while hiking with poles, they wear out quickly. Seams start coming undone after one or two uses. Look for similar if more expensive gloves by Solumbra(unfortunately not from REI)

Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
I bought these gloves for a paddling trip down in Baja. They were lightweight, the fit, and the price was right.
These were the worst gloves ever. They did protect against blisters and sunburn, but that was about it. Water would get trapped in the gloves. The skin in between my fingers was so sore and I came back with a nasty rash on my hands. I got what I paid for.

Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
this glove says sun-protective however it has no titanium dioxide woven into the fibers, no indication on the label or in the review what UPF (SPF for clothing) is. i am returning the gloves as what i want is truly UPF gloves.

Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
I bought these because I live in Houston where it is nearly always hot and humid. They keep my hands cool, but aren't that wonderful when it comes to blister protection. I'm looking into buying new gloves.

Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
Although I am an avid paddler, I bought these specifically for driving my truck on long road trips when the sun is beating down on my hands. I tried paddling with them one time, but once wet they were useless for me except for protecting my hands from the sun's rays. I would buy these again just for driving (but must be dry)...They really are perfect for this and ONLY this. :)

I used these gloves for a 2 hour relaxed canoeing event with kayak paddles. My main reason for buying them was to avoid blisters. I got blisters on both hands. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear around in hot weather, but they rubbed on the exact spot I always get blisters while paddling.

Comments about Warmers Solar Gloves - Unisex:
Decent light-duty running/hiking summer glove, and to avoid chemical sunscreen use. Worn for a hot marathon race, fit tightly enough and is thin enough to not restrict access to pockets. Machine washing doesn't affect them. Doesn't look robust enough to me for bicycling gloves, would like to see a model for that application with the same long cuff, but mesh/gel palms, and more color choices.
