        Could not paddle without these!Even on a warm day, they are comfortable enough to wear.

        I even use them to cycle and run in when i compete in triathlons (run / kayak / bike)

          I bought these for my wife to go canoeing in cooler/cold weather. Description sounded like what I wanted. Fit her well, but not long into our paddling her hands were wet and frozen. It wasn't even that cold out, maybe 50 deg. I think they were actually making her hands COLDER by keeping them wet. I barely even needed gloves. I had thought they were waterproof, but they are not. Would protect hands from friction, but not from water or cold temp. I could see them being a good dry-sport glove, such as for cycling in the fall or spring. No good for paddling.

              I am a complete beginner. Because of my lack of experience I chose only four stars because I don't know what perfect kayaking gloves should be. I can say these protected my hands from soreness and cold. They kept my hands comfortable even though they were wet. I used the sizing guide and was pleased with the fit of the size suggested. Just what I needed!
