I am on my third one of these, unfortunately they are popular with Central America Baggage Handlers. Despite the higher price tag and their attractiveness to thieves, I keep going back to this knife because it is so useful. I do wish there was a file, but other than that, it's nice an complete. The main knife does dull more quickly than I would like, but that would be my only complaint. I haven't experienced any of the complaints of the knife being delicate and honestly have a hard time imagining anyone else being harder on this knife than I am. Overall it's a great tool.

I use this tool everyday around the house and outdoors. I take it with my tool bag and only use the multi-tool most of the time. It stands up to moderate use. Great tool for having around the camp site too.

I've had this for what seems like forever & find a use for it all the time. Sometimes I find myself asking for a screwdriver & remember my Leatherman. As for the con, it could be a little sturdier while open so as not to close while driving or operating the pliers. I won the "Pro" version of this tool (very similar to this one, but with a file included) in a raffle at a meeting. Had I selected a Leatherman for myself to purchase I would have chosen one of the larger, more "serious" models. But, I took it home, put it in the leather belt holder and started using it. Now five years later, completely in love with the Leatherman brand, I'm still waiting for this one to break or fail in some way so I will finally need to buy one of the big models.
I'm a serious DIYer (which means I own a LOT of tools) as well as an avid hiker, and I automaticly clip this on my belt on Saturday mornings. It's my first choice of tool when I don't know what I'll need, and I find myself reaching for it several times a day. Every one of the tools work well, the steel is excellent quality, and all the cutting tools hold an edge. I have yet to sharpen any of them. At this point mine is looking a little beat up, but that just gives it character and some history. I can't recommend this tool any higher.

This tool has it all! I struggled to find a knife that came with scissors, pliers, saw, screwdriver, corkscrew etc until I found this beauty. Every tool has a practical use. It doesn't feel too large in your pocket (maybe a tad on the heavy side however), yet feels strong and durable in your hand. I have had mine for a while and with some sharpening here and there, this knife is amazing. I swear by it.
One review notes this model lacks a file. Leatherman makes another model in the Juice series above the CS4 that has everything the CS4 dose but also has the file.

The knife is very useful to have around the house and while camping. The knife is not for serious use, though it will get most "pocket knife" jobs done. The pliers are very very useful and are the only reason I take it out with me. The bottle-opener on mine continues to bend backwards when folded out and used. Also, the saw feels loose when using it. Given its weight and the fact that most of its functions can be accomplished with a simple good backpacking knife, its best use is around the house or while car camping.

For a day trip, and perhaps a weekend... I love this tool. For anything of substance, I like having a larger, more solid knife. I then find myself taking both - which defeats the purpose.
I love this tool and find myself bringing it with me to cut an apple or tighten a screw. Unfortunately, it's too big for a key ring and too small for any serious use. I should have gotten the Leatherman Wave.
