The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.
Rated1out of5byGoldenMonkeyfrom5 stars for REI's return policy.Puncture resistance doesn't do any good if the sidewall explodes. I got about 200 miles out of mine before the sidewall exploded with a resounding *kapow* leaving me to walk home. I am 145 pounds soaking wet and had these inflated to 100 psi. Since there was a gaping hole in my tire, I couldn't change tubes. Very disappointing, but fortunately I bought it at REI, so I got a refund.

Rated5out of5byBike Your DreamsfromAwesome TireI purchased these tires a few months ago and have ridden probably about 1000 miles so far; mostly on paved bike trails, and occasionally on urban streets. I have yet to have a flat, though I've hit a few serious pot holes that I am certain would have sent my old tires to the garbage bin. I've had a few trips in the rain and from what I can tell, they seem fine on less than ideal surfaces. We'll see how my rainy Seattle commute goes this winter, but so far I am a fan of these tires. The only "con" I have found is that they are really difficult to put on - much harder than typical tires, but they are most definitely worth the extra effort. You'll love these tires.

Rated4out of5bypajarito guyfromLasted about a year or 3,000 milesThis is my second set. I ride about 100 miles a week (including 50 miles of commute) if the weather is OK. I have the tires on my REI Randonee.

Rated5out of5bycyclingnutfromAwesome tire!I am very impressed with these tires. I seemed to go faster with minimal effort as these tires have very low rolling resistance. The handling of the bicycle is great.

Rated5out of5byJill the TriathletefromAwesome Tires that last a long timeThese tires are amazing. Had my first flat in a long time over the weekend and noticed my tires were getting towards the end of their life. When I checked my biking log, I had just over 5000 miles on them. I checked my previous order history and ordered the exact same tires. These tires are amazing, worth every penny.
