Comments about Third Eye Chain Watcher:
This is a good idea, but did not work for my bike which has a low clamp front derailleur, which limited the space needed to adjust the clamp. Plus the screw to tighten the clamp is angled to the front where the bottom tube is in the way. The clamp is metal and the potential of scratching the seat tube is really high especially if there is no room like with my bike.
Would recommend to friend if they had room.

Comments about Third Eye Chain Watcher:
It's one of the few options out there (and pretty much the only readily available one) to prevent chain skip on the inside chainring. It works as advertised.
I had a hard time installing it because my downtube ended up being in the way of the little screw tightener hole (the bolt should should have an allen head, not a phillips head like everything else on a bike), but once I got it on there it was fine. I haven't had chain skip even when shifting under tension on climbs since I installed it.
