      I have used this product for over 10 yrs. In Negril, Jamaica there is a 10K swamp just behind the beach area. But, as long as I have Jungle Juice on I don't know there are mosquistos in the area. My sons have traveled with me and they too can attest to the effectiveness of Jungle Juice.

      Apply the spray or or lotion to the exposed areas of the body and you will never know any mosquitos are around. My ex-wife used the product while we were in the Caribbean. The first few days, no problem. so she stopped using the Jungle Juice. It took her about 20 minutes to go run back to the room and apply it.

      THIS STUFF WORKS...I HAVE OVER 10 YEARS OF GREAT SATISFACTION.

      First off, I have the type of skin Mosquito’s love, so on a recent Backpack trip in the Rocky Mountain National Park, I wanted to be prepared. I did some research online and selected the REI Jungle Juice as my weapon of choice, my son & I each carried one bottle in our Packs. Very quickly we discovered that the Jungle Juice was far superior to repellent selected by other members of our group. They suffered through the first few days, then finally broke down and asked if they could use some of our Jungle Juice. We would apply once in the AM, then once in the afternoon, and did not get a single bite. Other members of our party were not so fortunate, they had bites on face, neck, arms and legs. The only problem we had was that we almost ran out of repellent, however this would not have been the case had others also chose to pack Jungle Juice. REI Jungle Juice will be an essential item on all future trips.

        I have used this on a number of backpacking trips and cannot say enough good things about it. It works very well especially against mosquitos.

        The bugs will still be there acting like they want to land to get a tummy full of your sweet blood, but they will think twice once they get about 2 inches away.

        I have actually put this stuff to the test. In a nasty mosquito infested area, I exposed only my arm with out any product on it and watched continually as mosquito after mosquito landed on my arm, after a short time I spayed some jungle juice and immediately the mosquitos stopped landing.

          in my area where west niles is a problem ,i look for a stronger repelent. 100% deet I like to use because deet seems to work best,i also dont want any ticks hitchin a ride .

            If you love being in the woods, but can't handle the constant attack from mosquitoes, this will be your life saver. It is also now scent-free, sorry to everyone that loved the smell of bug spray. This has made many trips much more enjoyable for me!

            This product is really effective at repelling insects, but the high deet content makes it greasy and hard to clean off your hands. Even after using soap, the stuff can still be on your hands which makes it easy to get into your eyes or food.

            My dad and I were backpacking and were using the spray. He washed his hands with soap after using it and proceeded to put his contact lenses on. There was still some of the spray on his hands and he got it in his eyes. He started losing his vision but luckily took out his lenses and it came back after about 30 minutes. Really scary experience though, especially in the woods. Who wants to lose their eyesight?

            Bottom line is, this stuff is effective but use cautiously. One must be judicious about cleaning their hands after using it. Best to go with a natural bug repellent that wont possibly ruin your eyes or burn your lips.

            On a two-week trip to D.R. Congo, I was the only one with this product, and I was the only one who did not get bitten. Fortunately, no one got malaria, but everyone else spent a lot of time worrying over their bites.

            The only bad thing was that this is so potent that it will sting your lips if you get it on them. I didn't get it in my eyes, but from the way it felt on my lips, I imagine it would probably would be a good backup for Mace as well.

            This stuff is potent! I bought this to combat the mosquito problems on Assateague Island. I imagine that the effects of the Jungle Juice last a long time. I applied some in the morning and, had I not been out in the ocean, it probably would have protected me into the evening.

            My camping buddies were weary of the DEET, using some OFF! or other over-the-counter insect repellent so I guinea-pigged the first use of it. The mosquitoes and other flying creatures were so thick you could see the clouds of them approaching camp. My friends, after being harassed and bitten by the mosquitoes quickly asked to borrow some as I was sitting out with no shirt, no shoes and a pair of shorts not getting bitten at all!

            The only warning I'll include is that the DEET does not like plastics. I noticed after my second application that my plastic Ironman wrist watch had the color eaten away as it started to flake from whatever the chemicals are in Jungle Juice. Besides that, this thing is great and I always keep a spare bottle on hand for the 'unbelievers'

              First trip to boundary waters and QPP in a long time. The gear has changed and made life so much nicer, including the jungle juice. Don't leave home without it. There were 9 guys in our group and only 4 used this gold. The others were looking for a spray everytime we turned around! The portages were much more enjoyable (if thats possible) with a little jungle juice. It worked well for the 42 yr old as well as the 13 yr old. Great job on the "no scent" as well. One bottle of spray per person was enough for 6 days and nights. A little left over for the next trip!

                Took a trip to Trinidad and stayed in a rural area. This product was applied every day(twice a day) and not a single bite from bugs. Last day forgot to apply after shower and recieved about 20 bites overnight. Will never forget to apply again in that situation.
